All websites require different things so all our projects are quoted individually but as a rough guide a website between 4-7 pages would cost approximately £450-£500 and our website packages start from £350. To get a quote for your project please click here.
Depending on the number of web pages you have and how soon our clients can come up with the content for the website sites normally go live between 1-3 weeks after a design has been approved. If all your content is ready to go websites can go live really quickly. Coming up with the initial design concept/mock-up normally takes us between 1-2 weeks.
The only thing you really need in order for us to start your website build is a rough idea of what you like, we tend to ask our clients for a 3 links to other sites they like and we ask them to tell us what they like about each site. Once we have all this information we can get to work on a design concept/mock-up. Once you’re happy with the design the only other thing we need from you is the website content (the wording displayed on the site), this is normally provided to us as word documents.
Basics: A domain name is the name of your website followed by (.co.uk, .com, .org etc). Web Hosting is an annual service require to show your website on the internet. If you don’t yet have a domain name or web hosting we can take care of this for you (our web hosting charge is £50 per year) or if you’d prefer to sort this out yourself we can point you in the right direction. Some of our clients may already have their domains & web hosting setup, if this is the case you can either keep it with your current provider and grant us access or we can transfer the hosting services to us.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) refers to the process used to get websites ranking higher up the search engines such as Google. All sites build by Bedford Web Design include SEO. We optimize your website based on the phrases/keywords you’d like your site to show up for. Many of our clients have achieved 1st page rankings thanks to our SEO efforts and as a result they get a consistent stream or leads/sales.
Yes, all our website packages include setup of a system that allo s you to track all visits to your website. Some of the data you’ll be able to see includes: Number of visitors, Average Time on Site, Average Pageviews, Visitor Location, Keyword Used, Pages Visited, Type of Device Used… and lots more.
